Chocolate Brioche Pud

Ingredients
  • 1 Cholocate Chip Brioche Loaf (300g)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50g white sugar
  • 150ml double cream
  • 100ml milk
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • Butter (for greasing)
Cuisine: Cooking time: 45 mins Serving: 4 people

A great twist on classic bread and butter pudding made with chocolate chip brioche bread or rolls.

Steps

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 170C
  2. Grease a shallow rectangular backing dish (size according to the loaf size)
  3. Cut up the Brioche into 1/2in slices and layer and squash the slices into the greased dish
  4. Whisk together the Eggs, Double Cream, milk, and white sugar.
  5. Pour the mixture over the sliced brioche and leave it to soak in for 15 mins.
  6. Sprinkle with the Brown Sugar and back for 30mins until just set.
  7. Enjoy
