Yorkshire Puddings

Step into the world of Yorkshire Puddings, the puffed-up princes of the roast dinner table, where they rise like golden, crispy clouds, ready to mop up every last drop of gravy and steal the show from the main course.

Ingredients

  • 285 ml Milk
  • 115 g plain flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Whisk all ingredients together into a big bowl. Tip: Make an hour before and put in the fridge to cool down.
  • Put 1/4 cm of vegitable oil into a muffin tray, then place this on the middle shelf of your oven at its highest setting (240-250 C/475 F/gas 9)
  • Allow the tray and oil to get very hot (very important)
  • Take the tray out of the oven and quickly fill with the mix and put back in the oven.
  • Allow to cook for about 14 minutes, you will see when they begin to rise and go nice and golden.
  • Enjoy.
